• Study of the modulatory effects of the interaction between tumor associated macrophages (TAMs) and tumor cells on the processes that initiate and maintain tumor growth;

• Elucidation of the main molecular mechanisms of cytotoxicity of tested pharmacological agents, in order to develop targeted cancer therapies;

• Development of targeted anticancer therapies through the use of “re-education of TAMs” strategies.
