Bioeconomy field

Bioprospecting of habitats, of known taxa, of consortia of organisms, of sorganisms or of synthetic compounds with the aim of generating bioresources (metabolites with possible industrial applications, biomedical etc.), of understanding and optimization their synthesis pathways, as well as the possible effects at cellular and individual level in experimental models in vitro (microorganisms, plants and animals) and in vivo (plant and animal model organisms); developing strategies for converting organic waste into bioresources usable in agriculture or industry.
